We are trained and certified by the professional climbing guides institute and/or the american mountain guides association and have nearly a century of combined rock climbing experience between us.

Beyond rock climbing Joshua Tree National Park is simply a place of beauty and awe. The Mojave Desert is another worldly landscape that supports many species of rare desert plants and animals including big horn sheep, desert tortoises, frogs, toads, 6 kinds of rattlesnakes, numerous species of cactus, other fascinating plants, and the unique Joshua Tree itself (actually a type of yucca, not a tree).

We honor the original caretakers of this land by acknowledging the native nations of this area by name: Chemehuevi, Serrano, Western Shoshone, and Cahuilla. Protecting and educating our guests about respecting these ancestral homelands is an extension of our leave no trace ethics as climbing stewards, and an active part of combating indigenous erasure in the places we recreate.
