Women’s Trad Climbing Event

We are SO excited to join forces with Athena Rock Climbing this December for an ALL Women’s Trad Climbing weekend campout. This event will focus on single and multipitch trad climbing inside JTNP, with the amazing Kelly Fields and Heidi Wirtz as the lead instructors. With over 30 years of professional guiding and instruction experience between them, Kelly and Heidi are on the forefront of the next generation of badass female climbers. Join them and their staff of female guides for 2 full days of hands on instruction and high adventure ascents, and 3 nights of camping, community building, evening presentations, and festivities.

Good Day Friends and Family of Cliffhanger Guides!

We are thrilled to present an All Hallow’s Eve event with our good friends at Giant Rock Meeting Room: The Dark Carnival! This two-night event features music, theatrics, fortunes, fiends, ghouls, and goblins and much, much more. As many of you know, outside of our day jobs blowing people’s minds in Joshua Tree National Park, we LOVE throwing insanely complicated theatrical events to support the arts community of Joshua Tree and get some good giggles in. We couldn’t be happier to partner with Giant Rock Meeting Room for The Dark Carnival, they are hands down, the best new venue in the high desert. This locally owned bar and event space has become an integral part of J-Tree’s unique culture, helping preserve and celebrate the ethereal weirdness and eclectic funk that is intrinsic to our community.
